Overview:
The mission of the SHSO is to provide patient-centered healthcare services to (all) Cyprus population with excellence in clinical quality, service, and access. The SHSO vision is to become an autonomized, effective and integrated public health care provider leading the way in efficiently serving the (full) spectrum of the population’s health care needs while focusing on modernization through continuous research and education. The basic strategy is to provide efficient, appropriate and reliable health services at the General Health System, which will be managed on a mom professional basis, with a new system of central government, hospital management teams, primary and mental health services, and ambulances, all interconnected improve patient access and satisfaction through credible efficiency, managerial efficiency of human resources, technological development, quality communication, and continuous assessment.
